Book Description: For Dash and Lily, it's beginning to look a lot like...distance! Just in time for the series release of Dash & Lily on Netflix comes a new helping of love--this time across the pond as best-selling authors Rachel Cohn and David Levithan send Dash and Lily to England. Dash and Lily were feeling closer than ever...it's just too bad they're now an ocean apart. After Dash gets accepted to Oxford University and Lily stays in New York to take care of her dogwalking business, the devoted couple are struggling to make a long distance relationship work. And when Dash breaks the news that he won't be coming home for Christmas, Lily makes a decision: if Dash can't come to her, she'll join him in London. It's a perfect romantic gesture...that spins out of Lily's control. Soon Dash and Lily are feeling more of a gap between them, even though they're in the same city. Will London bring them together again--or will it be their undoing?

Book Description: 'This book taught me so much about female desire. A must read!' Cherry Healey Did you know that there is an orgasm gap of around 30% between heterosexual couples when they have sex? In Mind The Gap, Dr Karen Gurney, a clinical psychologist and certified psychosexologist, explores not just this gap, but the gaps in our knowledge of so much of the most important new science around sex and desire. In this book, you will learn that nearly everything that you've been led to believe about female sexuality isn't actually true. And that, despite what you might think, it is possible to simultaneously feel little to no spontaneous desire and have a happy and mutually satisfying sex life long term. Exploring the mismatch between ideas about sex in our society and what the science tells us, Mind The Gap also explains how this disconnect lies at the root of many of our sexual problems. Combining science with case studies, practical exercises and tips, this is a book for anyone who wants to better understand the mechanics of desire and futureproof their sex life, for life.

Book Description: Brand is the new power and class system. Instead of living as effective, authentic, God-branded people, believers are bleeding from the pace. Minding the Gap is about saying enough and living a strategic, directed, edited life. It’s about taking the time to answer, Who am I? Where am I going? How am I going to get there? It’s a fresh, provocative look at what it means to be abandoned to God and discovering his vision and purposes for our lives. The Creel Model equips readers to find and press on to finish all God has planned for and through us.

Book Description: 'Mind the Gap!' is an almost iconic exhortation, originating in the London Underground, warning travellers to be careful when navigating the 'gap' between the platform and train. In this volume, Peter Carroll, Rex Deighton-Smith, Helen Silver and Chris Walker retrospectively assess the 'gap' - no less dynamic and perilous in a public policy context - between the promise and performance of successive waves of regulation in Australia since the 1980s. Regulatory bodies exist to exercise what might be broadly termed 'control functions' and, by nature, tend to be conservative both in their culture and operations. Institutional conservatism does not, of necessity, preclude the exercise of creativity and foresight, both of which are sorely required if government is to successfully meet the challenge of delivering more effective and less costly regulation. The business and policy environment is complex, the risks are great and the rewards of success and the costs of failure will be enormous. The true measure of success will be how effectively we are able to close the gap between promise and performance.

Book Description: Based on a lecture delivered by the author at the Leuven Centre for a Common Law of Europe, this book demonstrates the need to mind the gap between the evolving EU executive and the constitution. Mind the Gap focuses on the more low level politics of the EU by analyzing how the EU has evolved in institutional practice over the past decade. The manner in which powers and tasks have been delegated to a whole series of non-majoritarian agencies are a striking illustration of the development in practice of institutional structures without a legal basis in the constituent treaties or in the constitution. As the EU is doing away with its divisive pillars, the time has come to lift the veil on the agencies and approach them in a horizontal fashion and embrace them fully within the evolving constitutional framework.
